France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny
From tank at the Domaine, just prior to bottling. Firm red berry fruit with great freshness and concentration. Pretty fruit on the palate as well. Mineral structure with great balance and finishing acidity. Medium finish.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
From tank at the Domaine, just prior to bottling. Slightly darker color than the Chambolle Villages. Again, primarily red fruit notes with some bluer berry notes in the background. Floral tones. Great structure and concentration of fruit on the palate with refreshing acidity. Medium plus finish. More elegantly styled than I usually find this wine.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
From tank at the Domaine, just prior to bottling. Darker red with touches of blue fruits. Crushed stone and pretty floral tones. Very densely packed wine; almost chewy in texture. As with the other wines, great intensity of fruit. Medium bodied. Long, gripping finish with fine tannins. A very seductive wine.

From tank at the Domaine, just prior to bottling. A seductive mix of red and almost purple berry fruit aromas and flavors. Very pretty rose petal and violet floral tones. Some background spice on the palate. Great power and concentration of fruit while staying extremely elegant. Lots of background mineral structure. Medium body with a long, gripping finish.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Musigny Grand Cru
From barrel at the Domaine. As fantastic as the Amoureuses was, this was a noticable step up. Amazing intensity and concentration of red/blue fruit with seductive floral and iron notes in the background. Densely packed fruit on the palate as well with great structure and balance. Beautiful spice notes on the palate. Very long, gripping finish. Amazing purity of fruit. Fantastic!
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
From barrel at the Domaine. Darker red and blue fruit aromas and flavors. Earth tones and crushed stones as well. Great spice on the palate. As with all of Mugnier's '10s, great purity and intensity of fruit. Very well balanced with a medium finish. The best vintage yet for this wine (though it seems I say that each year...)
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
From bottle at the Domaine. (Bottled about 1 month ago) Very fragrant aromatics of ripe yellow orchard fruit with some citrus tones. Riper styling on the palate, but in no way overdone. Great richness and texture; perfect balance of fruit, minerality, and acidity. Medium body and finish. Very nice!
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
From bottle at the Domaine. Ripe, powerful nose of very dark berry fruit with some mineral and spice notes. Ripe, fruit forward palate as well, but with quite a bit of firm structure buried under the fruit. Great spice on the palate as well with a long finish. Better than I remember from last year.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
From bottle at the Domaine. Structured dark berries and earth on the nose with some darker floral notes and spice. Firmly structured dark berry fruit on the palate too. Nice balance of acidity and minerality with a medium finish. It seems fresher and better balanced than I remember from the last time I had it. Very nice.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
From bottle at the Domaine. Very pretty aromatics of red and blue fruit intermixed with crushed rocks, spice and red floral. Great mix of fruit and mineral on the palate with cleansing acidity on the medium finish. Very fresh, pure fruit aromas and flavors. A very elegant NSG.
