Introduction
Very nice opportunity to taste different styles and geographies from Spain, with the owners of the properties. I really liked Perez Pascuas basic El Pedrosal Roble for the price of $17, also really liked their Gran Reserva. Lopez de Heredia's white was very nice to try, as was the Bosconia for the price.

I thought this was really solid, one of the better $17 bottles I have had in a while. Crowd pleaser. Solid vintage, floral nose, nice red fruit with balanced oak. Clean and nice acidity.

100% tempranillo, 18 months in oak. Didn't make the Gran Reserva in 2008 so its in the Crianza. Chocolate and red fruit, some dried orange peel, a bit of stemminess at the end.

Very nice. 90% tempranillo / 10% cab. 24 months in oal. Meaty, chocolate. Nice red fruit, can taste the 10% cab. Very nice and fun to drink. Would go well with food.

Very nice. Nose of melon, honey and tropical fruit. Full, rich, vanilla on the palate...some oxidative streak as others have commented. Very nice to try.

According to Maria Jose, her grandfather's favorite vineyard. 6 years in barrel. Nice fruit, smoke and spice. Well balanced and smooth finish. Very nice.
