deep yellow, lots of honeysuckle and sweetness. Not as fresh as the 93.

initially a bit reticent, but becoming wonderfully expressive after an hour. lovely minerality with notes of exotic flowers. long mouthcoating finish.
packed with dark fruits and asian spice. ripe, complex and sexy.
beautiful mix of dark cherries and asian spice, perhaps not as rich and complex as the 1990.
complex notes of herbs, earth, truffle and some lingering sweet fruits. still holding well at end of night. a really pleasant surprise.
unmistakable alluring Cheval aroma with a hint of mint. fresh and vibrant still. plenty of life left.
notes of dried or petals and red berries. didn't enjoy the lean finish.
opulent nose of blackberries, cherry liqueur, and vanilla. a little sharp and acidic on the finish.
from magnum. soaring nose of incredible power and sweetness. but it's like gulping down spoonfuls of syrup. drinking a glass of it felt like downing a big mac meal. I can see why some will love it, but certainly not for me.

deep amber colour. pineapple and caramel. some acidity on the finish. still very much alive.
