Tasting at winery. Good flavors show melon, ripe apple and some grapefruit. Less energy and perceived acidity than I normally expect from Sauvignon Blanc. Moderate length and finish.
Tasting at winery. Black cherry and black berry aromas and flavors. Fruit is very typical for the vintage with moderate concentration. Tannins are slightly larger scaled than the fruit. give this a few years to soften.
Tasting at winery. Black fruit aromas with plenty of new oak spice. Slightly smoky. Subtle flavors, fairly well balanced now. Not incredibly complex but drinking well now.
