expansive and decadent, but not worth the price.

golden, rich and complex. not as intense nor fresh as expected. based on this bottle I'd suggest drinking up soon.
light colour, sous bois, floral, seductive. lovely.
started off dark, concentrated and muscular. after a couple of hours, a lot more expressive with alluring notes of tea leaves, leather, black fruits.
hints of oriental spice and tea leaves. still tightly wound and primary, but lots of depth and complexity. need to put aside for a few more years.
big, powerful, still tight. certainly no push-over even tasted with La Tache, perhaps even a bit more accessible.
aromatic and balanced. a refreshing break from the usual over-ripe fruit bombs. maybe my palate has changed, but certainly not as impressive as a decade ago.
alcoholic and over extracted.
