Slight oxidised nose but fresh on the palate. Sound acid backbone. Complex mouth with dried fruits and licorice. Very good. The chef came out and had some of this - big smiles.
Bit funky at first developing into green pepper and spice. This was beautiful on the palate right away. Perfect balance. After 30 minutes in glass, this was beautiful to drink.

Cork wet through, very cloudy - obviously oxidised. Some smell started to come through but we didn't wait around.

Big blackcurrant and spice nose and mouth. Very smooth tannins. This opened very nicely in the glass, better than the other Supertuscans.

Similar to the Palmer but better on the palate. Very round - glycerol. Lovely balance. Nicely developed tannins. Improved well in the glass.
