    Vibrant pale lemon/straw colour. Pronounced peach, tart apple, citrus and grass aromas. Palate is light bodied, with good high acidity, lemon/lime, granny smith apple with good length.

  • 2012 Dal Zotto Pinot Grigio 90 Points

    Australia, Victoria, North East, King Valley

    Very pale clean yellow/straw. A somewhat pronounced lifted and lively aroma of pear, apple and some citrus notes. Light bodied, good medium acidity with pear, green apple, softer citrus and good length.

  • 2010 Juniper Estate Chardonnay 90 Points

    Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River

    Clear pale yellow colour. A rich & pronounced nose, with toasty oak, butterscotch and peach. Medium bodied, high to medium acidity with peach, apple and oak/cedar notes. Good length.

  • 2011 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir Crimson 88 Points

    New Zealand, North Island, Wairarapa, Martinborough

    Translucent cherry red with pink edges. A somewhat pronounced nose of cherry, spices, raspberry and strawberry. Light bodied, high acidity, sour cherry, sweet berries to pepper and savoury notes on the palate. Good length, but left my mouth with lingering acidity, was somewhat unbalanced.

    Deep purple colour with violet edges. Pronounced portish plum, black pepper and cassis. Medium to full bodied, a palate of blackcurrant and plum, a little acidity. Reasonable length.

    Blood red colour with cherry red edges. Somewhat pronounced nose (maybe a little hot) of raisins, sultanas, and cinnamon spice. Full bodied, velvety, with a big attack of pepper, vanilla oak and plum. Reasonable length.
