Relatively light, medium sweet, youthful and lively, elegant, mature red fruit, an hint of nuttiness, well-integrated alcohol, adequate tannic grip; very attractive, gentle, drinking well, with time in hand.
Double decanted. A blend of 48% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 26% Cabernet Franc and 26% Merlot. Very ripe fruit but not jammy or roasted, warm and rounded but no lack of acidity or balance - there is a slight dryness to the tannins however. A good 2003.
Double decanted. A masculine and relatively dry wine, athletic, very 1996, very Mission, slightly medicinal and with powdery tannins, good extract and length, will hold but will not improve; gets sweeter and more charming with aeration.
Double decanted. Gentle, elegant, mature, almost delicate, satiny, wonderfully refined, very subtle fragrance, perfumed, long, understated elegance, hint of mint on the finish. Has the innate balance to last a very long time. Sophisticated.
Wonderful balance of elegance, freshness and richness; ripe fruit and honey, energetic and rich, apricot, lovely bitters; excellent length. An excellent Suduiraut, very representative of 2001, built for the long haul. Now - 2040+.
