    Just opaque, red-brown.
    Treacle toffee, earthy, raisined nose, somewhat transitory.
    Mineral, slightly fruity (sour cherries), dry mid palate.

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux

    A little age showing.
    Strawberry jam aromas, very restrained, slightly oaky and there's a burnt note.
    A rather ordinary attack but then it develops and improves in the mid palate.

    Very translucent, red tawny.
    Madeirised, vegetal (roasted root vegetables), a very big nose, attractive.
    Lovely mouth, delightful cooked fruit, au point.
