Bright crunchy cherry led fruit. Quite light and slightly willowy. ***

Darker, denser, far more oomph. Good grip. Nice acidity. An underlying structure here. ***(*)

Spicier and plusher on the nose. Palate too. Lush, vibrant and very fetching. This is fun but will no doubt continue to develop well. Really quite hard to resist now. Lovely wine, and shows its Vosne class. ****

A lot fatter and denser than the 12. Bright, pretty and attractive. No nasties. ***1/2

Again, tighter, nicely mineral and structured. Needs time but this should be lovely. ****

Not as plush as the 12, less attractive now. Fuller and longer than the MSD. One for the cellar. ****

Similar to the PTG but with a little more structure and density. Very drinkable. Indeed, lovely. ***

This has put on weight and seriousness since last tasted just after bottling. Slightly dusty and less immediately attractive than the 10, but served a touch warm. Good fruit and a hint of it being very ripe. ***

Again, very ripe and obviously a touch petillant. Again, could do with being a little cooler. Attractive, but not one for purist. ***

Again, a ripeness here. A sense of the minerality and village profile from the preceding wines. Quite bright, but leaner after the fat front end - almost a little disjointed. Very fragrant and tangy though - 100 whole bunch comes through on the aromatics. *** but with upside once the two halves meld.

Quite full and fruity, but a bit of an edge. Better in the riper vintages possibly? In the best sense, food wine. **1/2

A bit more padding cf the 07, but again, misses the ripeness of 09/10. ***

Bright. Lovely balance and poise. A lovely sweetness and lift. In a lovely place this evening. ***

A little dustier, but a nice density. Again, needs to be a little cooler. ***

Not released - officially a V de T. Nicely sweet. A little dustier than the 05, but again very drinkable. No meanies. Refreshing and attractive. A good start! ***

2011 Domaine Patrick Javillier Meursault Les Tillets 91 Points

Magnum. Nicely chalky minerality with some grip and extract. A touch reductive initially, but opens up to a fairly lean and linear Meursault with dry extract and line to the fore. Very attractive. ****
