2001 Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett 90 Points
Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
Light green hues. Mineral and green apple on the nose. Lovely acidity, lively, sweet and sour on the palate. Nice persistence with a cleansing aspect on the finish. Very pretty!

Light green color. Strong grassy element with some mango on the nose. Dry, bitter, and astringent on the palate. Less persistent than I would expect.

Gold color. Vanilla, butterscotch, and a sickly preponderance of wood on the nose. The chardonnay fruit is trapped behind too much smoky wood. Hot finish.
