Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Brownish, see-through colour. Nose of salted meats, hay, sulphur, spicy dried fruits at the background. Noticeable accidity, integrated tannins, some pickle juice and olives. Opens up nicely with air, give it time!

See-through red with brownish meniscus. Much fresher and fruity than both '85. Noticeable tannins, rather high alcohol, some sweetness, flowery. Milder on the palate than both '85, lovely and approachable.
Very aromatic and interesting. Fresh berries, methnol, eucalyptus, plum, spices, pleasant warmth from well intergarted alcohol. Also some dried roses. Elegant, feminine and nuanced.
Nose of vanilla, pleasant oak, some barnyard. Medium intensity taste of red and black berries, in the beginning woody and tannic. Loved the mouthfeel, class and pedigree evident. Intense but temperate at the same time. With air there came salty olives, cedar tree, coffee, dark chocolate. Excellent.
Nose is very dark, dense, warm, rich and earthy, it screams of Merlot. Powerfull tannins, licorice, lovely density on the palate, also earthy. Not sure about the QPR, but it was good as it was.
Pronounced nose of dark berries, some barnyard, quite complex with even notes of pickled onion and vegetality. Savoury. Much too young, felt somewhat disjointed to me, but with a great potential.
