Lemony and oaky. Mineral and chalk on the nose. Blind tasting and I guess. Mixing three vintages. Beheaded last May.
Too much sharped in the mouth. Pungent and long just I remembered it.
I would recommend a nice five years nap.
Alimonado y amaderado. Mineral y a tiza. A ciegas y he acertado
Mezcla de tres añadas. Degollada en el mayo 14.
Demasiado afilado en boca. Punzante y largo como lo recordaba.
Es para dejar dormir una siesta de cinco años.

NV Jacques Selosse V.O. Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut

Deeper than Initial but that extra of minerality shows in excess, without fine fruit even more, overripe fruit. Acid to the bone, plenty density on the palate but unbalanced.
Disgorged April 14. Seven years in the cellar before to release.
Tiene más profundidad pero el extra de mineralidad se muestra excesivo y sin fruta rica, más bien sobremadura. Ácido hasta la médula con demasiada densidad y desequilibrio en boca.
Degollada abril 14. 7 años de espera en bodega.

From PN. Almost a salmon colour. Oily in the glass, lighter on the palate.
Different and potent champagne. Creamy palate but a little shortie.
Beheaded this year.
De PN. Color casi asalmonado. Oleaginoso en copa más ligero en boca.
Un champán diferente y potente. Boca cremosa pero un poco cortita.
Degollada este 14.

Another Blanc de Noirs. Very easy at this point, 'very Clouet'.
What some are considering elegancy for me, really sorry about it, is a ordinary exuberance.
Baked ripe apple on the nose and plate both. However it has an excellent aftertaste.

Lo que algunos consideran elegancia para mi, lo siento, es exuberancia vulgar
Manzana asada pasada tanto en nariz como en boca. Tiene un gran retrogusto.

Compared with last Mareuil sur Aÿ, this is more perfumed on the nose and with more volumen and richness on the palate.
Quite good. Powerful rather than finesse.
Comparado con el último Mareuil sur Ay, este es más perfumado en nariz y con mucho volumen y riqueza en boca.
Bien bueno. Más potencia que finura.

More subtle with less oak here.
On the nose boiled rice and some herbs notes, tangerines even but in a good mood. Opposite that cat pee smell.
Crude and getting lighter thanks that intense acidity on the palate.
An absurd style for Selosse?
Más sutil y con menos madera.
Arroz hervido y algo vegetal incluso mandarinas pero sin molestar aunque aparecen notas de pis de gato.
Crudo en boca y aligerado por una intensa acidez. ¿Un estilo absurdo dentro del conjunto?
