  • 2013 Torres Penedès Fransola 89 Points

    Clear pale lemon color.
The nose is clean, medium intensity, fresh tropical fruit, vegetable notes (freshly cut stalks), oak nicely put in the back, very subtle, bell pepper, asparagus, youthful.
The wine is dry, medium body and intensity, med+ acidity, med alcohol, a bit due to being quite fresh still, overtly green and acidic, tropical kiwi-like, peach, asparagus, med to med+ finish.
Very good quality, med/premium price, drinking already (needs food) but can hold.
