Tasted blind. Aired for a few hours before drinking. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of coffee, vanilla, blackberry, dark red cherries. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (15.5%) that was surprisingly easy-going without the usual heat associated with such a high level, soft and fine medium tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of coffee, vanilla, blackberry, dark red cherries, a bit raisiny, and slight spice towards the finish. Long finish. Very good quality. Clearly very modern style. Will continue to improve over the next 3-4 years. I was guessing either a Portuguese Red blend or a Priorat Grenache-based blend. Blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragones, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional.

Can drink now, and will improve over the next 5+ years. 98% Zinfandel, 2% Petite Sirah.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, light ruby colour. Darker than the usual salmon-pink Rosé wines. Legs. Nose is clean, medium- intensity, with aromas of strawberry and raspberry. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, low tannins, medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of strawberry, raspberry, and slight bitter-sweet licorice towards the finish. Medium+ finish. Good quality. Definitely in the vein of serious Rosés, but didn't impress me on the finish. Drink fresh. Rare grape varietal Prieto Picudo.

On the palate, off-dry, zingy high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon, grapefruit, stony minerality, and lovely floral accents. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, amber-gold colour. Looks a lot older than it is. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of honey, beeswax, peaches, apricots, and florality. Developed. On the palate, medium sweet, balanced high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of honey, beeswax/honeycomb, ripe peach, apricot, and slight minerality. Long finish. Good quality. Nice and enjoyable now. Drink up. This will die a quick death soon.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of gingery spice, lychees, and floral notes. Amazingly youthful. On the palate, medium sweet, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with rich flavours of ginger spice, lychees, mango, ripe pear, sweet honeyed cream. Long finish. Very good quality Gewurztraminer. This has survived 14 years well. Enjoy now and over the next 2 years. Don't keep for too long as the balance will be off once the acidity drops.
