Absolutely classical Muscadet, crisp but not acidic, beautiful expression of grape and terroir, airy, subtle, hints of lemon and salinity, light but good length. Fresh as a mountain stream, will age beautifully
No sulphur, double decanted in the morning to blow off any impure aromas, hint of chocolate, flowers and cherries, mineral but silky, very gentle tannins, mint, subtle, layered, good length.
Only one pipe produced (the barrel came from Dirk van der Niepoort). Fresh style, cherries and a hint of dark chocolate, floral rather than spicy, aromatic and pure, ripe tannins provide backbone, lovely pure Baga spirit on the finish, silky and floral (roses) and only very slightly hot.
