Very impressive wine with a solid BdB acidity, depth, older apples but a beautiful and long aftertaste.
A brilliant bottle with a bad reputation :-)
When tasting it, it is a lot more serious than I would have expected!

Fresh green and red apples and the powerful and very refreshing acidity really shines through.
July 2005 disgorgement.
One of the best bottles of RD90 I have tried.

Just lovely and creamy texture with plenty of green apples left.
As always the coffee and toasty character is present but the wine has a lovely edge to it that I simply adore.
The 90 just continues to improve and impress.. I just adore this wine!

Razor-sharp and super fresh palate with a lot of flavor depth and intensity.
Long and lemon-like acidic aftertaste..
This is just an impressive wine that I just adore and it will continue to improve but it is definitely in a good place at the moment!

Some blackberry and the fruit still has some depth to it.
The backbone is however a bit frail and the flavors are a bit hollow with a dominating alcohol presence.
It does however collect itself a bit in the glass and it is overall still a wonderful and impressive wine

Charming and still full-bodied fruit that are still very well balanced.
Also shows some chocolate and overall it is just a wine that will please almost everybody..
To me it is really a great bottle and a testament to the quality of the Pegau Reservee!!

The black fruit is still somewhat dense but the wine is also quite rich on tannins.
As an overall expression it seems sweet and unbalanced.

Very charming wine with elegant fruit flavors of red currant and strawberries.
It also has some flavor complexity like mint leaves, gun powder and smoke..

Impressive mature red currant and strawberry fruit with hints of sewage water.
It has a lovely balance!

An outrageously good bottle!! Deep and full-bodied with and impressive acidity.
Still a very young wine but it still has that outstanding balance...

Youthful fruit that is still fresh with a mix of coffee to it.
Even though it is intense it still lacks a little balance due to the overpowering alcohol.

The wine is simply infused with blood and meat but also still plenty of intense blackberry fruit.
There is plenty of spices and notes of coffee and other oak related things.
However, to me, this wine is all about complexity and balance... There is so much intensity and flavor present but still with an almost unexplanable balance..
Just a beautiful wine in all aspects.

A bit strange and perhaps a little bit off.
The wine does however seem fine and in balance but with an excess alcohol.

Manure, coffee and young fresh fruit.
A good balance but not very exciting at the moment.

Dense apple fruit with a slighly bitter but highly acidic aftertaste.
The hazelnuts are lovely and well integrated to the fruit flavors but it also have an impressive minerality to it.
Beautiful wine!

A little to dry but otherwise a lovely wine. Plenty of red apples and caramel.
Liked it a lot!
