Deep gold colour already. Mandarin and brown sugar with some lemon on the nose. Sugar heavy on the palate, cleaning up toward the finish though. Feels reasonably lively and is nice to drink.
Cinnamon and peach aromas. Palate has softened right out, there is medium length to this and the sweetness is well restrained. Drink now on this bottle.
Seasame, orange rind and slate. The palate shows some heaviness and weight through the fruit and sugar. Drinks well though I'd like to see it with some more age when the sweetness has dropped away a bit.
Grass, pear, ginger and almond. The spice line continues on the palate and the sweetness is integrated really well. I like the restraint and length. Very good even now when it is too young.
Musk, orange and spice. Rich palate that feels a touch soft around the edges, carries decently into medium length. A touch behind the last bottle but I still have my bottle to try at some stage.
Lemon, pineapple and some papaya aromas. Palate is fresh and has some texture. Doesn't overdo the sweetness, though I wish it had a bit more depth. Probably give it some more time to develop.
Aromatic with lychee, orange and floral notes. Good spice on the palate, the sweetness is handled well with refreshing acidity and bright fruit. Really nice.
Stalks, bright red fruit including cherry and raspberry as well as some rhubarb. Shows off some fruit sweetness on the palate, there is a good fresh lift to it. Enjoyed this quite a bit, though the price point is quite high for a "second" wine.
65% Hunter Shiraz, 35% Coonawarra Cabernet. Iron, earth, raspberry and ash. Good acidity, nice length but the depth isn't quite there to lift it into being great.
Toast, pear and some autolytic notes. Medium bodied, has decent acidity though a bit more would give it some more precision and lift. Nice enough but little excitement.
#701. Apple, almond and herb. Very clean palate, some decent acidity keeps it fresh. Approachable but rather basic. Not as good as the #601 for my taste.
Caramel, cedar, violet and spice. Rich on the palate, though it feels held back a little. Depth is medium, a bit more complexity would be really nice. A fine way to finish an evening.

Strawberry, blackcurrant and spice. A fair bit of sugar on the palate, seems a little simple but it is enjoyable in its own way.

Vegetal aromas with graphite and darker florals. The fruit is just holding on, over the fresh acidity. Nice but drink now.
