Pale straw in color. Lots of citrus on the nose. A bit thin and light bodied on the palate. Ok acidity, refreshing palate cleanser. Not so complex, but good.
We really liked this. Raised on granitic soils. Some floral notes on the nose with honeysuckle together with minty notes and a nice minerality. Medium acidity and fuller bodied than the Taxakolina that preceded it, showing a touch of heat on the quick but refreshing finish. Paired with a Roncal (sheep's milk cheese from Navarre) this was absolutely stunning.
Light salmon in color. A hint of acetone on the nose with watermelon. Medium acidity, light bodied. Melon fruit on the palate with a long finish. Nice rosado.
Nice nose with a hint of iron ore and oak spice. Almost syrah-like with blood, violets and dark red fruit On the palate, medium bodied with medium+ acidity and a slightly acidic finish.
Very funky at first with lots of barnyard and cheese on the nose and fruit in the background. Full bodied with great acidity and a high-toned finish showing a bit hot. Better after the funk blew off.
Dark chocolate and cherries on the nose with some minerality and floral notes. Good acidity and some meaty notes. Good structure. High-toned acidity and a nice finish. No perceptible oak influence with good minerality throughout.
Fruitiest nose of the bunch. Acidity leans sharp. Softer structured than the Priorat the preceded it. Perceptible oak influence and a long, structured finish.
Higher end than the Caravel that preceded it. Great minerality throughout showing crushed rocks and nice earth. Nice acidity with a little sour cherry and a soft finish.
