10 drinkers and one observer participated in this event. The food was great as always - cheese, meats, appetizers, flatbread, blue cheese pear avocado salad, quinoa, leg of lamb roast, scalloped potatoes, seared foie gras and flan.
Voting was more uniform than usual, with the WOTN by everyone as the 1985 Cheval Blanc and 2nd place the 1989 Chateau Angelus.
2010 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru Séchets 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru
A small pour at a tasting. This is a well-made chablis. Crispy, yet with body. Pear, canteloupe, good acidity. Quite vibrant.

2004 Le Brun-Servenay Champagne Exhilarante Vieilles Vignes 93 Points
France, Champagne
A small pour at a tasting. The nose on this is quite bold and yeasty. The palate is smooth and has a creamy but carbonated feel. 92-93
