  France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru

  Dense, chewy. Iron, blood, iodine. Smooth and long. Still young. Not bad, but not my favorite. What a different style from modern Pavie!

  Smooth round fruit, warm and sweet. Not going to improve with more age, but not quite over the hill yet. Very nice.

  Very nice. Smooth with some dark tar notes, perhaps a bit too much. Just a shade behind the Lynch and Baron.
