Celebrating my birthday in Napa/Yountville/Mill Valley...1945 and staying alive!
Friday night dinner at Bouchon (Yountville); though busy, they were very attentive and enjoyed the Lynch Bages with us.
Petit Plateau of oysters, shrimp and Lobsters
Salmon tartare with capers, mincec onions, and crumbled egg yolk
Guinea Fowl au jus with wild mushrooms, artichoke hearts and braised spinich
Others enjoyed the flat iron steak, trout, and divers scallops
Turns out the Sommelier is THE Sean O'M; who came back into our lives a year later. He did not remember us from a year ago, but clearly remembered the wines!
NV Laurent-Perrier Champagne Brut L.P. 90 Points
