Introduction
40 years to the day a repeat of the famous tasting with Steven Spurrier.
Flight 1 - White (10 Notes)
The American Chalone had the most votes on the night and was a clear winner.
What does this tell us? - Burgundy has a problem with mature bottles being oxidised.
Flight 2 - Red (10 Notes)
The American SLV got the most votes on the night which I was surprised at.
My favourite was the Mouton with the Heitz in close second.
Closing
A lovely evening but I think next time we need to have less of a spread of the vintages in the whites.
