Pineapple, musk, lemon and slate. Nicely pure crystalline fruit, has good lightness about it, although there is also a phenolic touch. Nice length and good interest.

Orange peel, graphite, perfumed florals on the nose. Electric acidity, very punchy while also showing great brightness. Textured and has great cut and drive. Really good stuff.
Quince, white florals, honeycomb, orange and a moderate oak influence.Took a little time in the glass to open up, even then the fruit only had moderate intensity and probably felt a little shallow in depth. Could probably use a bit more time to develop, but I was hoping for a bit more now.
Blind. Oxidative, intensely nutty with walnut, hazelnut and sesame, filter by marmalade and orange peel. The palate follows suit with a deep oxidative sherry styled note. Textured and really well composed, this has so much going on and i really loved it.
Blind. Lemon, orange peel, dried grass and tropical fruits. Pretty clean on the palate with medium depth and length. Young and the sweet fruit is well held back.
Citrus aromas, lemon and mandarin with plenty of peach, rose and spice. Great acidity that plays well with the slightly riper style fruit. I really like this, feels clean and pure with plenty of interest.
Wild aromas - ash, cigar, meat and brambly earth. The palate has good grip and texture. Plenty of ripeness but has good acidity keeping it in check. Nice length. Another 5-6 years should see this at its peak.
Australia, South Australia, Limestone Coast, Coonawarra
Herb, floral notes and plum. Medium bodied. the palate is well balanced, with the fruit showing through and nice grip from the tannins. Feels well made, but it is "safe" and doesn't really provide much interest. Maybe longer in bottle will help with this aspect but I'm not sure.
Australia, New South Wales, Hunter Valley, Pokolbin
Earth, plum, leather, raspberry and cherry liqueur. Palate has good fruit presence still, with good acidity and drive. Drinking at or just a little past its best and really enjoyable.

Roses, lemon and straw. Quite sweet on the palate, though the acidity bites back at the finish. Lacks a little detail and depth but it is decent drinking now.

Ashtray, compost, earth and bramble. Hollow through the mid palate but holding up decently. Interesting but not exactly pleasurable.
