  My first taste of Cote-Rotie, so not sure what to expect. Nose of blueberry and black fruits, with a somewhat funky smell in there as well, that I can't decipher. Lush fruit on the attack. Firm tannins, leaving a very dry finish. I hope this is not representative of the region, because it was definitely a "meh" wine for me.
