Pain grillé, apple, low acidity, viscous, but lacking the depth of the 2005.

Excellent! Fresh, but lacking any bothering herbacous notes.
Dominated by very ripe, lactic aromas and blackberry. medium to full bodied, full palate.
Tropical and grassy at the same time, this is very fine with a floral hint. I need to drink more SB.
Full bodied, tropical, oily. Good palate coverage.
Very fruity, ripe, thick and flamboyant.
Ripe, Rolland nose of lactic and vanilla aromas. Not as enjoyable as the Merlot Cuvee Alexandre, but very decent.
Full of black currant and cedar. Medium to full bodied and very tannic. Tannins are dusty.
Clear ruby color. Nose is sweet, with strawberries and red cherries. Medium to light bodied, low acid. Good but not profound.
Ripe, low acid. Nice mouthfeel. Lacking depth and aromatic complexity.
Spicy currant in the nose. Concentrated, medium to full bodied. A lot of flavor and an attractive dash of acidity that makes the finish juicy.
Flabby and hot.
Floral nose with lots of minerality. Medium body, high acidity and a retro nasal gusto of rotten flowers.
Deep color, concentrated flavors. Very impressive. Very tannic, but the quality is excellent. Long and flavorful finish.
Nose of red fruit and violets. A bit oxidized. High acidity.
An oxidized, old Rioja style. Some red fruits and a bit of minerality. Nice, but old style Rioja is not up my alley,
Freshly roasted coffee dominates nose. Full bodied, crammed with black fruit. Low acidity and drying tannins.
Mineral rich nose laden with blackberry. Nice acidity, firm tannins. Long, juicy finish.
Caramel and hint of barnyard in nose. Medium to full bodied, dirty aroms in finish.
Not my style. Lacking fruit. Drying finish.
Flabby and disjointed.
Gorgeous. Full of flaor, complete, with just enough acidity. Long, delicious finish. Santiago Achaval is good.
On the border of over ripeness. Caramel and blackberry dominate the nose. Low acid, full palate coverage, delicious.
