An enjoyable kaleidscope of citrus flavors, with metallic on the nose and palate. Extremely vibrant and fresh. Great stuff.

Very premoxed. It isn't just white burgs.
Great bottle. Evolved and beautiful, lots of earth as expected.
Spectacular. A rock solid bottle of this great vintage.
A bit reserved, but a decent bottle.
Laser like in its focus and intensity. Not at all like a bottle the other night, which was broad and fat. Angular, sharp. Very good.
Simply a gorgeous bottle of champagne. Fat, rich, seductive.
Good juice, but outshined by the 79 next to it.
A typical 85 Krug, which I tend to like a lot. It is what it is.
Everything is in place for a long and great life, but I think we all expected more from the 96 Clos du Mesnil than it delivered tonight. We all put the second half of our glasses aside, and came back to it, but it didn't give it up.
An absolutely perfect sample of this wine. A great nose of candy and fruit. Heavy, thick good acidity. Interestingly, we weren't sure how this would perform, and it soared.
A stunningly good bottle of wine. Soaring nose, lots of smoke, earth and hickory. Beautiful.
A great performance by an underappreciated wine and vintage. Earthy, but with a lovely perfumed element. White pepper, spice. Perfect quality.
A very good bottle, but somewhat reserved, which given the competition made it the outlier. Perfect shape, and as a result this is still a baby that needs time.
Served blind at the beginning of the flight. No one guessed it. Surprisingly approachable for its age. Killer plus. Great treat.
A bit simple, and it didn't move me. Generally this was the consensus.
Like the Drouhin, this was fine but unimpressive.
A rock star in the making, with stunning intensity of fruit. A baby, but well worth the early test drive. Great.
My second go at this wine in the last year, and tonight it just didn't move me. Others liked it, but the jury was mixed. Richebourt typicity, but no excitement.
Great bottle, killer nose. Faded a bit in the glass, but a rock solid wine that won lots of oohs and ahhs.
Great wine, entering its drinking plateau, but still a bit young.
For me, a stunning wine. Loads of smoke, charcoal, bacon. Might guess old HB blind. Gorgeous. Mmm.
