Lunch with Julien Barrot

I was lucky enough to get an invite to lunch with Julien Barrot from John Clerides of the Marquis Wine Cellar. Julien seems to combine youthful enthusiasm with a real sense of the history of his family's 400 year old Domaine la Barroche. Both he and John are great people to share lunch, wine and converstion with.

I have always loved the Reservee and Fiancee but have never tasted the Pure. These are great, clean and if I dare say Pure examples of the appelation.
