Dear Colleagues,

Wandering through the internet wine wastleand, I am upon an offer for a 1999 Latour Corton Grancey, with accompanying accolades from the Wine Spectator (rating between 95-100). Of course, I then consulted our collective wisdom, and there was quite a disjoint. Admittedly, CT and professional ratings do not always agree, but in this instance, the difference is unusually pronounced.

I would definitely go with the CT community view. So many reviews in the same range and after the wine has aged (as opposed to one professional review when the wine was young) can't be that far off the mark.

That is what I love about CT.
