Serge, I have had a few '03 Bdx, although they were all "little wines" that were presented/marketed as early maturing and so forth. So far, I have not been disappointed. To the extent that numbers matter, most have been in the 85-90 range (on my personal magic metric), and perfectly drinkable, some even notable considering their pedigree (e.g., Argenteyre). I tend to be conservative in terms of drinking windows (perhaps too much so -- one of my winter tasks is drink through my cellar more aggeressively), and so I have not had any "bigger: wines (e.g., Pauillacs). Reading our colleagues TNs, it seems that the 8-year rule (or whatever number greater than 4-5 one wants to substitute) seems to be in effect. If I recall properly, the vintage was not that well-received in Europe but was "rescued" by the American critics, although it could be that my memory does not serve me well in this instance. Looking at the drinking windows of my '03s, many are starting now, and for the better wines they seem to be reasonably long. For the "good juice" I thnk I will wait a little, although when I have multiples, I will probably start a within-vintage vertical just for the hell of it..
