As a relatively new wine enthusiast, I made the mistake of purchasing a dual zone wine cellar from Cosco. I have managed to get about half of the cellar to between 55 and 58 degrees (I monitor the temperature on each shelf). I use the other half (cooler bottom half) for wines that are relatively close to their drinking windows. At this point, my bigger concern has to do with humidity. I also monitor the humidy on each shelf and have found that my colder shelves are running about 65 percent, but as I move up to the 55 and above shelves, the humidity drops to 50 percent. I have tried to boost the humidity by adding a large tray of water on the bottom shelf. That had no impact on the humidity any where in the cooler. Then I added smaller cups of water to each self. Still no impact on the humidity. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can boost the humidity???
