Had an interesting discovery as I was loading my CT inventory. I have the following two bottles
Moulin de Duhart
Duhart-Milon

Which are apparently the same wine, though with different importers. I hadn't really seen this before, other than on some vintage ports, but I understand that in many cases those are bottled and labeled by importers in London??

Anyone have any knowledge to shed here?...

Dear HW,

I am pretty certain that Moulin de Duhart is the second wine of Duhart-Milon.

Might be decent on its own nevertheless.

Cheers,

John

Hi Hollowine,

These are 2 different wines and it has nothing to do with different importers.

The Duhard-Milon is the first wine and a 4th Grand Cru Classé
The Moulin the Duhard is, since 1986, the second wine from this estate. (Probably made from the younger vines and the lesser quality grapes.)

Cheers,
Bill.

See, simple answer, feel dumb for posting it. I should have just cracked a book, but was at the computer instead...

Thanks Guys.

Christmas is coming......
A good wine book is always a nice present...
(Often better than a bottle of wine from someone without any knowledge of wine )

All I seem to get is wine stuff, along with cocktail books and other 'alcoholics' paraphernalia.
Do I have a problem, or do people really know me well?
