Great game going tonight. Celtics with a huge comeback going into the 4th. I know this is not a sports forum but I am drinking wine.

Big time fan here. Enjoying the game and the Olivares Altos De La Hoya I just purchased. Decent enough wine for the money ($9) but the game deserves much better!

Interesting, I have had the Terlato & Chap shiraz, and enjoyed it. I thought it was similiar to a Pimot Noir.

I also jus saw the Olivares Alto at my Wine store tonight. You must have been at your local PA wine & Spirits. I almost bought it.

And by the way...I'm a huge sports fan. Watching the game right now.

J2K...I actually bought it at the Wine Library.

Not only do the Celtics have superiour players but they definitely play better together. Even when they were losing they didn't stop passing and helping on defense.

Love the Terlato, have another 12 bottles or so. Not the typical Shiraz, fruit isn't overpowering well intergrated, drinks well.

Go Celtics

Are you both referring to the Malakoff Shiraz?

Okay, help me out. All that comes up in CT is the Shiraz-Voignier blend and the Malakoff.

Great. Thanks for the clarification.

Well any night when Kobe goes down to defeat is a good night of basketball from my perspective.

Catch you all later.

I hate to interject, but I had to mention that I am a bit disappointed that there were no hockey fans bold enough to start a thread such as this during the amazing Stanley Cup Finals we just had.  All I have to say is that you haven't lived until you have experienced the combination of a quality Riesling, paired with a triple OT hockey game.

I'm in Pittsburgh, you know I was watching the Stanley Cup finals!!! I learned that a triple OT hockey game requires more than one bottle.
