Status: offline 		Someone has placed an extensive blurb for appellation Ribera del Duero under the region Castilla y León. This means that all of the wines from the other eight Denominaciones de Origen in C.y.L. are showing a fair amount of nice to know but basically irrelevant text.

I was going to just delete it and copy it over to the actual appellation article, but I can't delete someone else's revision and I have nothing appropriate to fill the space with (was hoping that there was some organization of Castilla y León wine growers, but couldn't find one).

What can be done?

It would be nice to be able to delete an article, either implicitly by blanking it out, or explicitly with a DELETE option.

This issue has cropped up a couple of times for me in the process of creating short articles for the producer, vineyard or wine, typically some web links.

yes you can. Blank it out. Leave a note in the revisions area to say what you've done
