Eric

Could you please add the varietal Cabernet Cinsaut (or Cinsault as you prefer). I have some South African blends to add.

Many thanks

Sean

Cinsault is already in the list. If you aren't seeing it then no wine no wine of that type has been added to the database yet for the region. Just toggle the filtering options here:

If you really have a wine with Cabernet and Cinsault on the label then use "Red Blend" as the varietal and add the Cabernet and Cinsault to the designation.

I had seen the Cinsaut so no problem with that - It is a Cab Cinsaut Blend so will add as a Blend with that in the designation.

Thanks

Does "Cabernet-Cinsault" appear prominently on the front of the label?

BTW, your question inspired me to add a FAQ: http://www.cellartracker.com/ow.asp?VarietalQuestions

The FAQ is good - it addresses what I was going to write in my last reply but I was in a rush. - Note "I" should be "In" in the 2nd Q.

Re your question; yes the "Cabernet Cinsaut" is prominently displayed on the label. However, I only have 1 bottle and I don't believe that wineries are blending this blend anymore (it is a 10 year old bottle)

Another question for your input and it relates to your 3rd Q: I am trying to note which of my Bordeaux Blends, are Cab or Merlot based -ignoring the balance of the blend. Given I cannot always remember which ones are which it does help me when I am choosing a wine for a particular evening without having to read the detailed wiki. Is there an easier way (which would allow me to sort), other than the Wiki? ie maybe using the designation as "Cab Based" or "Merlot Based"??

Thanks

Sean
