I've had one since the day they came out and it is the single coolest techie gadget I've ever owned. It had paid for itself in time savings to me within months. One thing I learned after a bit was that if you are on a website you regularly use, like CT, you can click the + button at the bottom of the Safari browser and tell it to add it to the home screen. This then puts an icon on the screen just like the Weather, Stocks, Calendar, etc. As long as you have internet, CT is a single finger tap away. I'm not sure there would be much advantage to a CT application other than maybe some way to download and access your personal cellar (for Speed purposes), because so much of the CT value would be in quickly looking up new wines at a restaurant or store which simply is a factor of internet access and web browser. I guess maybe an app to take tasting notes when not at home would be useful, especially if it could update them to CT without having to retype them. The only noted quirk with the iPhone is since I've chosen to have CT Forum posts emailed to me, every time someone posts my phone vibrates and beeps. With the frequency Serge is firing off posts, this could be misconstrued as "remote stimulation" You'd think he would at least buy me a drink first...
