I'm not sure I should be posting this, but here goes.

Last night I had two strange dreams.

1.  The Colonel broke into my house - opened up all my bottles and was having a wine tasting with all his friends.  When I got home there was none of my wine left and he had replaced all my bottles with Californian Zinfandel.  WTF!!!!

2.  I dreamt Serge was on Family Guy.  He and Stewie got on really well together - they were setting up a porn website.

I put it down to not drinking for 4 days.  I think I need to seek help.

I would have left 2003 Bibi Graetz Casamatta Toscana IGT - cheapest red I own ($5.50), but surprisingly quite quaffable.

A fair swap of course - Angelus, Figeac, Valandraud, Lynch-Bages for a 5.50 bottle of Italian wine.

Cheers

Paul, let's be optimists,
at least your dream had the "happy ending"!

To commemorate your dream,
I set up 2 porn websites:

http://sexia.com/pjaines/

and

http://sexia.com/Colonel_Lawrence/

Let's drink American Zin to that!

I think I might refrain from opening up the web link at work, but thanks anyway Serge.

By the way, in my dream Stewie made you cry.

What did she do to me????
:)

DO NOT open at work, it has one very nasty woman your boss doesn't want to see, right on the front page.

He, not she.

This is Stewie.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stewie_Griffin

I can't remember, but I remember him smacking you about a bit and shouting at you, and you were crying.

I'm really worried about my own sanity.

Have you ever watched Famliy Guy?  Stewie tries to kill his own mother.  Setting up a dirty website would be well within character.

It is as american as apple pie.  Not sure which channel it is on, though.

I am just scared that you are going to pop up in my dreams on a regular basis Serge.  It is not a nice thought to have before I turn out the light.

It's a story for the ages really...deceit. anger, friendship, porn.  It has it all.

Thank you for sharing your dream, Paul.  This thread has made my day and it's only 7:30am here.

BTW - Serge, Family Guy is huge here in the US.  Its first run shows are on Fox, and at least 3 other cable networks run re-runs all the time.

hmmm...
2 rambunctiously charming characters going head to head
berry interesting indeed
let me take my tinfoil helmet off for a moment and fetch my pipe

i think there is a part of everyone who
viscerally subconsciously or secretly wants to be stewie
though i think in real life serge could kick stewie's beehind
so to dream stewie is slapping around serge
may reveal a hidden desire you have to make serge cry ? lol

as for your dream with colonel
on some level you must have felt that
your emotional space was violated
and at the same time felt fooled...
like discovering that someone was only being your friend
so they could have access to your record collection
...there is a hint of distrust there... somewhere brewing

now don't take any of this literally
for this is only the outer layer of the onion
many of these symbols/characters/personalities
you may have associated different meanings to
further psychoanalysis would be required
to bare the core... so to speak

serge to cure your curiosity...
here are some great clips of stewie
he's quite a loveable character... much like you

Zippz,

Thanks for the analysis - my cheque for my consultation is in the post.  In order to further repress these ghastly dreams I am going back on the sauce big style this evening and will continue to drink to ensure I sleep in blissful silence from now on.

Eventually we became good friends....

Wine in Dreams

* To dream of drinking wine, forebodes joy and consequent friendships.
* To dream of breaking bottles of wine, foretells that your love and passion will border on excess.
* To see barrels of wine, prognosticates great luxury. To pour it from one vessel into another, signifies that your enjoyments will be varied and you will journey to many notable places.
* To dream of dealing in wine denotes that your occupation will be remunerative.
* For a young woman to dream of drinking wine, indicates she will marry a wealthy gentleman, but withal honorable.
