While understanding the technical details of why it's a problem, it's probably safe to assume that these are, in fact, the same wine. Someone has uploaded identical labels to both "signature" and "non-sig" versions. Chappellet sells the "Signature" Cab in a 750ml and a 1.5L Magnum. I'd wager that the people who paid $100 have magnums as they list for $115 on the Chappellet site. The 750ml lists for $46. I find that people aren't all that careful about entering sizes, simply taking the default 750ml apparently without thinking. There are entries here for 750ml bottles of dessert wine that only comes in 375ml bottles (Bonny Doon Vineyard Le Vol des Anges for example). At the other extreme, Woot Cellars Polyphemus was only sold in a 1.5L yet 16 persons list having a 750ml. It wouldn't surprise me to find that some owners indicating $100 purchase of a 750ml actually have a Magnum and just didn't select. Maybe the default value should be "Select a size," which would be invalid and we would be forced to pick a valid value even for 750ml bottles. Then there's also the problem of only one UPC per record when the record can support multiple sizes of the same wine (which will have different UPCs). I don't think that's at play here, but it could conceivably add to any confusion. Byron
