I glad we went to Painted Lady, the place exceeded our expectations. Who could have thought one can get top notch Paris quality meal in the middle of nowhere and pay 1/3rd from Paris prices?????

We had croquet, wild mushroom ragu and duck liver pate for appetizers and
halibut, duck breast and steal head for main  with wines we brought along.

Airlie 2007 Pinot Gris (I could have mistaken it for Savignon Blanc in blind tasting)

Glad you enjoyed it!  We'll definitely be back as well.  I thought the service was good as well (and I don't usually fuss about those things).
