Thought this heading may prove useful any number of times.
Also this article is relevant to the alcohol/ageing thread:

Interesting to see there was no evidence of tasting from anyone other than the inventor.

I don't buy it. Also, I didn't know that it was the alcohol "changeing" that defined the ageing of wine.

It seems a pretty random treatment, orange juice, whiskey, wine add Ultrasound and voila. What's the result if you stuff a human down the gadget?

They age of course - go all wrinkly I would expect.
Need a little guy to experiment on.
Volunteers?

I like the idea of buying YellowTail and turning it into Latour.

We can all dream, I suppose.

I have a couple of those (but not for wine).  Basically is shakes/vibrates the liquid.  Although it would be a great invention … nonsense.   I could put a bottle in and write a tasting note, but I would feel gullible (euphemism).  Maybe the next vintage of the Mollydooker will come with one?

Why? It made the orange juice brighter(!?!?), not older. What the article implies is that it just makes things "better". Wonder if the inventor deals in real estate?

That article reads like an infomercial ... absolutely no scientific discussion to support his assertion ... the endorsements are rather extreme hyperbole too.

This is hogwash.

Apparantly, the inventor has also created a device to remove any bad odors from shoes.
