Eric, I was deciding what to open the other night and looked at the CT report on the 98 Quintessa that caught my eye. In scanning the public tasting notes, it seemed there was a very obvious trend where the ratings increased over time up to a report dated 12/31/07 which rated the wine a 98. For those notes after that it began to trend down, the most recent being an 83. I didn't read your bio so I don't know how much of a math freak you are, but even the travel sites are beginning to include charts showing travel costs over a several week period. Wouldn't it be great if there was a little chart showing trends in the ratings at the bottom of the page? I suppose you would need at least 6 or so reviews over a couple of years to be meaningful. Of course, the next bell and whistle would be an automatic alarm if one of the wines you held was trending down. still love CT! All the best, Augie Huber
