Looks like Netherlands are current favourites. They handed both Italy and France their own asses. Magnificant team.

Denmark is sadly(?) not in the tournament - but that's OK. Then the al channels aren't saturated with football. Sadly I can't say the same about the olympics. Three weeks of non-stop "sports". Thankfully it's on the other side of the world, so little of it'll be live.

Vive La France!  Being an Arsenal fan I have to support them.  The Netherlands is a close second.  Beyond that, anyone but Italy--sorry Maestro.  Vive Zidane!

No point the Colonel or me commenting. Like the Danes, we're not there.

However, I am an Arsenal fan but can't commit. Yes the french connection but it's a lot weaker now Henry, Pires, Wiltord, Viera et al have moved.

Feeling totally impartial I'd resort to Holland for the hope of reviving total football and perversely Portugal as Ronaldo probably deserves to be in most finals. If I'm going to be loyal to any Arsenal players it's Cesc, even though he's a sub!

So Holland, Portugal, Spain - in no order.

Wrighty

Arsenal!?! It's Liverpool or NOTHING (except Viborg FF).

France sucks. Ribery is cool - but he's no Platini.

I'm surprised to hear such harsh words from a Roligan   Then again criticizing is always easy...fun too!  By the way, where did Liverpool come in at the end of the season?

And Wrighty, I'm surprised to hear you even list Portugual...after what they have done to England in the last two major international tournaments.  I can still see Sol Campbell's disallowed goal in my head as clear as day.

I agree, Portugal - and especially Cristiano Ronaldo - should be banned from playing against England, or even in England.
He's just too good and remember what he did to Rooney (a teammate!) and Beckham if I remember Wrightly.
Yes Wrighty Portugal have to be off the list.
But at least they can't beat us this time
L.

By the way this is a joke, before I get hauled before the CT PC Committee.

I am a Man Utd fan who cannot decide whether or not to support the Portugal contingent. It seems like Ronaldo may go off to richer pastures at the end of Euro 2008.

Like my wine, if England aren't in it I like the best! So no problems with appreciating [some of] the best - Ronaldo (seems like a Pavie!)

Only two left from my choice; Spain and Holland. Typical to see Germany quality come through (Riesling - always under appreciated).

Will it be an all wine final or wine vs. beer, or even beer vs. beer? Where would Germany sit in beer vs. wine? Think their beers hit a better level generally than the wine. They're also responsible for Tsing Tsao. The local brew!

Better be careful what I say - think ice I believe!

I guess both aren't appreciated by everyone - as for their respective opinions of themselves........

Geez--all my teams out, and England never even qualifying--this has been a disastrous tournament--I'm completely gutted.  The only consolation is that Ronaldo is finally gone from ManUre.

Just checked my facts and I may be a bit premature but our patience will be rewarded with the inevitable.

I can't support Spain, I am not too keen on the way Turkey plays, and I certainly can't support Germany.

Gotta ask Serge if he is supporting Russia. If he is, they might get my sympathy...

What a crap tournament. Turkey, Germany, Spain and Russia!!! The only team i can support on moral grounds are Spain. Russia is playing the most complete football of the bunch but I still believe Germany will take the trophy yet again. (Turkey, what a joke).

Thankfully Italy was beaten. Sad for Holland. They played beautifully.

No need to be hostile, Nikolaj...

Well, we beat France, and that alone is worth going to the tournament.
