I am visiting Napa in August and am seeking to visit 4-5 small  producers or wineries that I cannot get their wine in NY.

Gargiulo Vineyards recently came across my radar and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this wine and/or visiting this winery?  (I know tastings are by appointments only.)

Thanks......

I've not heard of Gargiulo before but if you're looking for small producers who aren't quite mainstream, you might want to try Tofanelli.  http://www.tofanelliwine.com/TofanelliWine/Welcome.html

Vince owns some prime real estate and sells most of his harvest to the likes of Turley, Spottswoode, Schrader, and Duckhorn, however he keeps the best of the best for his own label.  I've been collecting his Zins and Charbonos for the past 4 years and have enjoyed every single bottle I've opened...
