Has anyone had this wine before? http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=283277

Fellow tasters seem to hate it, but I did not find it too bad. Certainly not much poorer than say the obscenely highly rated Mollydooker Boxer. Something wrong or subjectively very different with my palate?

Is it a screw top?

I admit it here for all to see.  I am prejudiced.  I just don't trust a screw top.  Wine, beer...I'll drink a soda from a screw top bottle, but truth be told I prefer a can.  What horror from childhood do you think I am suppressing? (Serge probably has a few appropriate pictures).  Sorry - I know I'm getting off topic, but I just had to get it off my chest.

The consensus (the subject is still receiving new research) is that the right (they do vary) screw top is perfectly adequate and may even have some benefit over cork, if the wine is to be consumed within a few years (i.e. not for long term ageing).
There is very little known about screw top for very long term storage.
Personally I wouldn't want to risk buying a 2005 Margaux if it didn't have a long, natural cork stopper.
