I have said it here several times that the wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains in CA are up and coming. Especially when it comes to Pinot. Here is an interesting article (and quite informative site as a whole) on the region.

Absolutely. One of my all-time favorite pinots is from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The wines just keep getting better in this area.

I love the SC Mountain Pinots. Windy Oaks is one of my favorite producers from there. Consistently great juice that is more restrained than your typical Cali pinots.
