Now if you're sober enough to recognise you're drunk, maybe you need another?
My Thursday and Friday nights were fun ;)
And today a BBQ - a must for more red wine (alright another Norton Privada if you must know).

I'm finishing a writing assignment--I'm such a procrastinator, I've had this one for months and months--and then it's Mimosa time!

J2K, hope you drank a couple tall glasses of water before bed.  Have some tea when you wake up if you are feeling fuzzy.

Tea?  Not coffee like in the Die Hard/Lethal Weapon movies?
What sort do you recommend:
Earl Grey
Green
Red Bush
Thunderstorm (yes they serve it at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai)

I find coffee far too acidic first thing in the morning, especially if my belly is already not feeling 100%.  I have English Breakfast every morning.  I can't begin my day without it.  I'm not terribly picky about brand, I generally buy either Twinings or Tazo.  My favorite is the house blend form a tea shop in Leuchars, Scotland, but unfortunately I no longer have anyone near there to buy and ship it to me.

The only thing more difficult to give up than wine would be my first two cups of black coffee every AM ... sober or hung over!

J2K - never before have I laughed my ass off so much reading a post on this forum.  Even the mis-spelling makes it even funnier.

Top quality.

Well, I guess it won't help in the forums but drunken babble is fully acceptable here.

Wasn't it Joe Walsh who said, "The smoker you drink, the player you get"?

I was wondering how many tasting notes were written in a similar state.  After the bottles are finishing up, you are full of food, wine and generally happy.  I am sure this affects my own TN to some degree.

I mostly write mine before dinner, ie based on the first pour. If I notice some radical change to the wine during/after dinner, I will go back and make a note of it.
