My opinion (pairing suggestions): Fireworks - Australian Fruit Bomb - Any Shiraz recommended by Parker Meats coated with BBQ sauce - Zins, Aus. Shiraz, CA Syrah, CdR. Chianti and Barbera go better with tomato based sauces. Grilled Veggies and Shrimp and tomatos - Sauv blanc, semillon Grilled Spicy food - Off-Dry Rieslings and Gewurz Grilled burgers and Steak - Cab, Bordeaux, Dry Zin (Ridge Lytton Springs style) Dry Rose goes with most everything grilled Of course, beer goes great with BBQ edit: I almost forgot hot dogs... Reisling, of course. Also, Sausages go great with CdR!
