I find the promotional abilities of the Wine Library to be second to none...However, I'm even more impressed by the references in their latest e-mail:

Way back in December, we introduced many of you to Sojourn Cellars. Everyone got so excited about the 2004 Cabernet, we sold over 100 cases in one day!

The requests for more wine piled so high, we knew that we needed to bring it back. Finally, with the release of the 2005, the wine has made its triumphant return--this time with some of its siblings in tow!

The first is the new vintage of the Cabernet, which quite frankly is even better than the 2004.
The second is a brand new wine for them, the Reserve Cabernet 2005, of which only 175 cases were made.

The final wine, the 2006 Sangiacomo Pinot Noir, received an incredible 96 point score from the Pinot Report!

Still not convinced you need to own these wines?

Check out what the public has to say about Sojourn on the Mark Squires Bulletin Board and Cellar Tracker!

Super Sale - *$44.98*
Reg. - *$59.99*
"Our 2005 Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is our classic blend of 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from selected hillside and Valley floor vineyards, mirroring our successful 2004 vintage. The blend comprises 70 percent Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from the hillside Mountain Terraces Vineyard and 30 percent Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from select prime vineyards on the Sonoma Valley floor. The Mountain Terraces Vineyard component is a 50/50 split of the Phase-2 (white ash soil) and Phase-3 (red lava soil) blocks. The power and strength of the muscular hillside fruit is delicately balanced with a touch of bright, Valley floor acidity. Red currants and blackberry complement each other on the nose, while in the mouth the smooth texture is accented by mocha and dark chocolate. Give this wine until mid-2008 to fully integrate -- We expect it to equal or best its 2004 predecessor." -Winery

41426 Sojourn Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 750ML
http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=41426
Super Sale - *$74.98*
Reg. - *$99.99*
"This wine has an inky, bluish-purple color to the rim, with a nose of blackberries and cassis mixed with black currants. Earth and terrior ooze from the soil, and notes of heavily roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate are present in the mouth. The tannins are ripe and integrated, and the acidity is vibrant, but low profile. This wine possesses tremendous texture, a sumptuous mid-palate and a very long finish." -Winery

41370 Sojourn Cellars Sangiacomo Pinot Noir 2006 750ML
http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=41370
Super Sale - *$44.98*
Reg. - *$59.99*
"Medium ruby color; deep, spicy and complex cherry and earth aromas; rich, ripe, deep slightly stewed cherry flavors with complex earthy and forest floor notes; silky texture and sweet oak; gsb; lf. Deep and complex with amazing texture, this is a Pinot that needs time in the glass to open up. Once it does, your patience will be rewarded."
96 Points - Pinot Report
