The records for the Marilyn Wines generally seem to be screwed up. Not sure what to do.

The "Velvet Collection" Cabernet-Merlot has records going back to 1986 vintage, but this series only started with the 2002 vintage. Back in 1986 (vintage) there was only Marilyn Merlot.

The 1986 only has one bottle in inventory and the 1987 only shows five bottles held by one user so it's easy to imagine one person making an error. The other 20th-Century vintages show one or no bottles. 2001 shows three holders.

I'm sure that at least the pre-2002 are not Velvet Collection, and it's probably safe to say that the pre-1993 are (Nova Wines in CT) Marilyn Merlot. With 1993 came Marilyn Cabernet (also Nova Wines) and since contains some Merlot and the Merlot contains some Cabernet it's hard to know what some of the holders actually have.

While I'm here, shouldn't all of the Marilyn wines be under the Marilyn Wines producer? The Uvada Wines -- also from Nova -- show up under Uvada.
