I'm putting the soundtrack together for the CT event on Saturday.  So far I have lots of Olivia Newton John, Leo Sayer, Air Supply, Zamfir, and New Kids on the Block.  Anyone else care to make any suggestions?

Oh, you kidder!

Is there a dance floor?  Mirror ball?  Howabout Karaoke?

You're just bringing an ipod, right?  I'll make up some playlists too, Craig, and give you some backup.  You've got enough on your hands.  My job requires me to DJ on a regular basis and I'm an expert on "foreground", "background", and "underscore".

I'll wait for SB's reply to that one!

I am glad your job requires DJ skils and not BJ skills

I hope this is the response you were looking for

Pretty much.  Thanks,

But you missed one BJ that we could actually use in Seattle:

Especially "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head"
(Sorry, Rainbirds. I know you get enough of it)

Karaoke--now there's an idea.  I'm picturing Serge after a few drinks singing "You Lost That Lovin' Feelin" with a Russian accent.

Bob, my current playlist has 205 tracks of classic jazz, vocal jazz, and some blues-16+ hours--enough to get through a few bottles of wine.  On the day of, could definitely use some sound board advice or other technical expertise beyond my scope of understanding

Have to have... UB40 - Red, Red Wine at the very top of the list
this youtube clip was from one of their concerts
might be hard to make out some of the lyrics
http://www.lyricsfreak.com/u/ub40/red+red+wine_20141681.html

and here's a great list of wine themed songs to choose from
